Unlike the District Council the PRC does not have a team of planners on the payroll and cannot rely on taxpayer funding.
Thanks to the generosity of local residents, the PRC has been able to engage the services of planners. traffic consultants and legal advisors to help us make the most powerful case possible and to keep the planning authority honest.
This has proved vital in exposing flaws in the District Council's case and revealing errors in their work about housing numbers, the law, traffic predictions and compliance with the Habitats Regulations that are there to protect Ashdown Forest.
